Paula Matron of Honor (Best Friend of the Bride) Paula and I have been best friends for as long as I can remember. Wow, if I want to be honest with myself, we go all the way back to band class at Fort Ashby Middle School! And honestly, from that moment on, Paula and I were inseparable. I mean really, who else could truly understand "Pauly Power Pill's" or movie nights showing Girl's Just Want to Have Fun & Top Gun. And of course, those nights just wouldn't be complete w/o some orange rolls, pizza, crazy bread, Doritos, and strawberry daiquiris! But after high school, Paula and I were able to add a ton of new stories to our ever-growing list when we started our freshmen year of college together at West Liberty State College. Whether driving off campus every night to see the Christmas light display at Oglebay or locking the keys under the hood of the car, Paula and I came out of that year much closer friends than we ever were before. Then several years later, Paula and I were roommates again when we moved to Myrtle Beach, SC, for the summer. And trust me, we were on top of the world that summer when we rented a “Shag” like beach house just 1-block away from the ocean. Now today, Paula and I are just as good of friends as we were 13 years ago. And even though we don’t get to see each other that much these days, we can always pick up right were we left off whether it be on the phone or in person on one of our rare visits. So…Paula, thank you so much for doing me the honor of being my Matron of Honor and for standing right there beside me as I become Greg’s wife. I couldn’t imagine having anyone else but you. | |||||||
